European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Usports, a Swedish sporting goods retailer, has filed for bankruptcy and will let go of approximately 140 employees in Malmö, Västerås, Sundsvall and Solna.
The sporting goods chain has only been in business for 16 months. It has three stores in Malmö, Västerås and Sundsvall. Usports headquarter is located in Solna, where 15 people will be layed-off.
As of March 2013, there is no information about when the employment adjustments will start taking effect or when they will be implemented by.
