The company Crown Speciality Packaging announced its intention to close its plant at Hoboken, where 102 workers are employed.
According to the management, the closure is necessary as the company is not efficient any longer and suffers from over-capacity of production. The trade unions claim that the management has not intervened early enough and did not act to improve the situation.
