Description
Swedish Ikea's furniture production plant in Lithuania Swedwood Kazlu Ruda intends to dismiss 62 employees and 45 temporary employees by 11 April, 2013 in Kazlu Ruda. Currently, the company employs 462 people.
According to the management, the plant is replacing around half of its product range with new designs, which will decrease production volumes and the company will need fewer employees.
The affected employees consulted with the Marijampole Territorial Labour Exchange on 14 February, 2013.
