Mariborska livarna (MLM, Maribor foundry) has announced 100 Â job losses.
MLM currently employs 800 employees but due a drop in orders it is facing severe liquidity problems. As a consequence, an internal restructuring programme has been launched in which 100 employees will be made redundant. MLM is negotiating with potential strategic partners the take over of the production of sanitary products.
Mariborska livarna (MLM, Maribor foundry) located in Maribor in the Podravska region, is a manufacturer of copper, copper alloy and aluminium alloy products. MLM supply the automotive, electrical, mechanical and construction industries, and produce their own sanitary products (taps, fittings) and radiators.
