European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
On 14 March 2013, the commercial court of Montluçon has decided on the takeover of DMI by Secast and the dismissal of 138 employees out of the 168 ones. DMI, which specialized in the casting of aluminum, was placed in receivership in 2011. The same year, Platinium Equity took over and cut 113 jobs.
Negotiations have started between employee representatives and the new owner about the conditions of leave for the 135 dismissed employees.
