Boxmark Leather has announced that it will close the production unit in Radlje ob Dravi in the Koroška region, which will lead to 160 consequent job losses.
The company has been facing a severe drop in orders due to the crisis of the automotive industry. As a result, the production unit in Radlje ob Dravi will be closed down and all 160 employees will be dismissed. Boxmark Leather will retain its other Slovenian production unit in Kidričevo in the Podravska region.
Boxmark Leather is a company specialized in the production of leather for suppliers in the automobile industry, owned by Austrian firm Schmidt.
