Logistics and courier services company Deutche Post DHL has announced 120 new jobs and the opening the first Shared Service Centre for Central and Eastern Europe in Ostrava.
Low costs, convenient location and experienced staff stood behind the decision to establish the centre in Ostrava. Among the five similar centres DHL has around the world, Ostrava Centre provides the widest range of services to sister companies in the Czech Republic, Slovenia, Hungary, Poland, the Netherland and Slovak Republic. The centre provides services in the area of IT, human resources, purchasing and accounting. The firm is said to plan a further expansion and a slight increase in number of employees in 2013.
