Description
Istituto dermopatico dell’Immacolata (Idi), a health institute that operates in Rome, is to cut 400 jobs (out of 1,417).
The job cuts, which will affect some hospitals in Rome, are due to the severe financial condition of Provincia Italiana della Congregazione dei Figli dell’Immacolata Concezione, a religious organisation that controls the Idi hospitals.
The trade unions reacted to the company’s decision organising several protest actions and requiring the involvement of local and national authorities.
