Description
On 23 December 2012, Polish manufacturer of trams and underground trains, Alstom Konstal announced plans to create 160 jobs and to invest 82 mln PLN (19.9 mln EUR) in the factory in Chorzów in the new financial year which will begin in April 2013.
The recruitment is associated with the production of trains for the Italian train operator Trenitalia. The company is to build a new paint shop and modernize the production facilities.
Alstom Konstal was founded in 1864 and it has been part of Alstom Group since 1997. In Chorzów Alstom Konstal employs 940 people.
