Description
Food processing company HKScan has announced a restructuring process affecting 123 employees (49 dismissals) in Finland. The restructuring plan is going to be implemented by the end of 2013 and is the outcome of negotiations with employee representatives. Apart from the direct (49) dismissals other measures affecting 74 employees include retirement schemes and pause of contract extensions. HKScan employs approximately 2,400 people in Finland and seeks to save 5 million Euros annually. As part of the reorganization process, another 145 employees will be affected in terms of changes in their job description.
