Description
The company Glacio intents to buy insolvent icecream manufacturer IJsboerke, which would lead to 138 job losses while safeguarding the remaining 227.
In December, IJsboerke requested that the Court to be temporarily adjourned of all financial obligations.During this time, the management was trying to find a company interested to buy the plant.
The company Glacio has entered negotiatios in order to take over firm, but this would result in 138 redundancies (approximately 40% of the workforce). The workers agreed with this plan and they expect the sale of IJsboerke will take place by the 1st of March.
