European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
As announced on December 21, 2012, German energy provider EnBW will cut 1,350 jobs until the end of 2013. This is part of the company’s efficiency programme FOKUS, which sets out to tackle the difficult market situation in the energy market.
EnBW and worker representatives agreed on measures such as partial retirement and compensatory payments to avoid forced redundancies.
