European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
VOP CZ, a state enterprise for military repair services, is to dismiss all 120 employees by the end of March 2013 as a result of the sale of its unit in Šternberk.
The redundant workers will be offered severance pay amounting to three to five average wages. The sale of the Šternberk unit is to be completed at the beginning of 2013. According to statements, there is a possibility that the new owner will offer employment to some of the current workers.
