European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Supermercati uniti nazionali (Sun), an Italian company operating in the retail sector, is to create 435 jobs in 2013. The job creation is due to the merger with CE.DI.GROS., a consortium of retailers. The acquisition is aimed at integrating commercial and logistic support on the Tyrrhenian coast. Sun employs around 7,550 people in Italy.
