European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
McDonalds, the multinational fast-food restaurant chain, has announced 700 new jobs in outlets across Ireland over the next three years. It is reported that as many as 12 new outlets will open, in what amounts to a major investment by the company, which has been trading in Ireland for 35 years and presently employs over 4,000 staff. The recruitment and selection process will commence in January 2013.
