Description
Sellafield, a nuclear reprocessing company, will create 500 new jobs in order to assist the decommissioning of the site. Of those jobs, 50 will be apprenticeships.
The recruitment is due to the need for acceleration of the clean-up of the west Cumbrian facility. The majority of the new jobs will be filled by local employees.
The timeline for the recruitment has yet to be announced.
