Description
Faurecia, a multinational automotive parts manufacturer, has announced that it will create 800 new jobs following the construction of a new plant in Nýřany industrial zone, near the city of Plzeň.
The construction of the factory is to be completed by the end of June 2013 and full operation will begin in October 2013. The firm has already started recruitment of key managers and specialists. Faurecia’s new plant will mainly produce seats for the BMW 1 Series for the German subsidiary of BMW in Regensburg and Leipzig.
With newly constructed plant, the company will operate seven production plants that collectively employ more than 3,500 people in Czech Republic. Faurecia operates 270 factories with 84,000 employees in 33 countries. The group’s sales amounted to EUR 16.2 billion last year.Â

The company launched the full production with the first 420 workers on 21 October 2013. According to the newspaper, a total of 800 employees are to be employed by the end of 2014.
