On 27 November 2012, computer manufacturer Hewlett-Packard (HP) opened a new Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) centre in Łódź where up to 200 jobs are expected to be created.
The company is looking for people with higher education and foreign language skills. The centre provides financial services in the field of accountancy, staff management, processing of orders and purchases. HP has similar centre in Wrocław (since 2005) where nearly 2,500 people are employed.
