Description

Lernia Bemanning, human resource provider, has announced to let go of 300 employees in Göteborg as a result of the reduced production of Volvo PV and the weakening of the market in general. The slowdown of the economy is affecting Lernia Bemanning’ customers, leading to decreased demand.

Lernia Bemanning is a part of Lernia, an education and human resources provider owned by the Swedish government. Lernia has 4,700 employees in total.

Update 13.12.2012: The number of redundancies has been reduced to 200. The affected employees have been notified and all reductions will be implemented by the end of February 2013.
