Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
On 15 October 2012, the telemarketing company Transcom WorldWide Poland announced plans to create a further 150 jobs in the call centre in Gdańsk. The company is looking to recruit multilingual personnel in order to move in transnational markets.
Transcom WorldWide was established in 1995 in Sweden. The company employs over 24,000 people in 75 contact centers worldwide. Transcom WorldWide has been operating in Poland since 2003 and it employs over 900 people in three branches located in Gdańsk, Wrocław and Olsztyn.
