Description
On 15 November 2012 the French-owned home improvement chain Bricostore announced the closure of its nine stores in Hungary, dismissing all 670 employees.
Parallel to this the company reportedly expands its activity in Romania; nonetheless there does not seem to be a direct relocation process.
Bricostore Hungaria has been present in the country since 1997 and the last store was opened in 2007, in Miskolc. The company aimed to increase the number of stores to 12, but since 2009 the company’s losses appear to have gradually increased.
