Description

Kapuvári Hús has announced its liquidation and the dismissal of 212 employees by the end of January 2013.

The company has applied the legal procedures and started negotiations and consultation about the future of its employees. Their aim is to reemploy some of the redundant employees through their other company, Kapuvári Bacon.

There are HUF 53,9 million (EUR 1,9 million) state fund money available for the liquidation process of the company.

The plant terminated its activities mid-September and it has already released 320 workers on temporary contracts.
