European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Componenta, Finnish company specialized in casting solutions, introduced its cost saving plan for the next two years: 550 jobs will be cut.
According to news reports, these cost saving measures have become necessary due to the continuous uncertainty of the global and European economy, which has led to a significant decrease in demand in the company’s customer industries.
The company has plants located in Finland, Turkey, the Netherlands and Sweden.
