Description

Budget Airline Ryanair has announced that it is to create 1,000 new jobs at three of its bases in the North of England. 460 jobs are to be created at the East Midlands Airport, 360 at Manchester and 180 at Liverpool.

The company stated that despite contractions in the industry, its own operations are doing well as they are locating larger aircraft outside London.

It is also reported that airport officials are questioning the high number of job creations announced.
