On 17 October 2012, the employees of Cimest, a subsidiary of the automotive supplier Plastivaloire, voted in favor of a social plan proposed by the management. The Cimest plant will pursue its activity until 22 November, when the Commercial Court will liquidate the company.
All 100 employees will be made redundant, but two that have agreed to an internal relocation to another site of the group. In its last proposal, the management proposed dismissal allowance of over 26 million euro per employee, the payment of strike days and 400,000 euros added to the employment safeguard plan.
