Description
Ryoka Global Europe, a manufacturer of plastic components for TV maker Foxconn Slovakia and Sony, is closing its plant in Nitra-North Industrial Park. As a result all 227 employees will be dismissed by the end of November 2012.
The closure is attributed to low efficiency of the company due to insufficient orders from Foxconn. 10 million euro was invested in the construction of the plant in 2007.
The management has pledged to pay the 13th salary, reimburse unused holidays and compensate the workers according to the Labour Code.
