Description
A new Lufthansa Technik facility was inaugurated at Sofia International Airport, and is expected to provide work for 600 new employees.
Lufthansa Technik Sofia, which is a joint venture between the German firm Lufthansa Technik AG and the Bulgarian Aviation Group, has doubled its operations in Sofia in recent years. According to reports, the new facility is one of the largest in Europe, with the capacity to repair 6 aircrafts simultaneously and it will perform about 60 repairs per year.
Lufthansa Technik AG, a German firm currently operates 30 subsidiaries around the world, 19 of which in Europe.
