Description

The high-tech aircraft engine supplier Pratt & Whitney Norway’s Engine Center at Stavanger Airport ceased operations after years of heavy losses. 195 workers will lose their job.

It is reported that both the labour union Fellesforbundet and the Rogaland County Council believes that the company has broken the Restructuring Act, claiming that the company disregarded a deadline for the lay-off of employees.
