American owned Haldex Brake Products, manufacturer of vehicle parts, has announced that it is to cut 42 jobs in Landskrona. The lay-offs are to adjust the company's cost structure to declining demand. Haldex Brake Products currently has 260 employees in Landskrona.
Haldex, headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden, is a supplier of the global vehicle industry. The Haldex Group currently has approximately 2,350 employees at ten production plants worldwide.
As of October 2012 it is not yet known when the downsizing will be implemented by.
