Kuusakoski, a company specialising in metal recycling, has announced redundancies of up to 85 employees from its locations in Finland. The company has started negotiations with employee representatives.
Kuusakoski operates in about 20 locations in Finland, where it has approximately 650 employees. It is part of Kuusakoski Group, which also includes foundry operations and has over 3,000 employees worldwide. The announced redundancies may affect all Finnish locations. The company cites economic downturn and declining prices of metal as reasons for the cuts.
