Description

Cargotec, a manufacturer of freight handling equipment, has announced redundancies of up to 130 employees from it Finnish operations. The company has started negotiations with employee representatives on the cuts.

Cargotec plans to cut 245 positions worldwide from its approximately 10,600 employees (Q2/2012). About 10% of its workforce is in Finland. The company reports that it is reshaping its organization as it aims to improve its profitability.
