Description

On 21 September 2012, Norwegian based Odfjell announced it will cut 120 jobs at its Rotterdam plant.

This is due to a decrease in profits, as well as major safety problems with the storage of oil and other chemical products in the Botlek plant.

Update - 31 January 2013: Odfjell announced it had reached an agreement with the unions to minimize the number of the redundancies to 35.
