Description

Slovak producer of ladders, Elkop Company, will dismiss 30 out of 280 workers in Dolny Kubin by the end of 2012. Dismissals are attributed to presumed decline in orders for 2013.

According to statements by the management, the timeframe of the dismissals was affected by new labour legislation that will take effect on 1st January 2013, by which dismissal costs will be increased.
