Swedish construction company NCC (Nordic Construction Company), has announced that it is to cut 100 jobs within its unit NCC Housing Sweden in Stockholm. According to the company, the decision is taken with the background of the economic situation in the area of new construction of residential properties. The planned downsizing affects about 20-25 percent of the company’s total workforce of 430.
NCC's business sectors include construction, housing, property development and infrastructure construction. NCC primarily conducts operations in the Nordic region, but also in the Baltic countries and Germany.
