Description
On 27 September, the insurance group Groupama has announced a restructuring plan, which will result in the loss of 180 jobs within its logistic and computer division Groupama supports et services (G2S).
Groupama has launched a restructuring of its holding, last June, with 170 job cuts (see Factsheet) and another in its insurance subsidiary GAN, in July (but the precise number of job losses is currently not available). These restructuring processes are meant to increase the financial strength of the company and to reduce costs by around 400 million euro. The management will open a voluntary departure plan to avoid forced dismissals.
