Magyar Telekom is to make redundant 500 employees. Most of them will leave the company by the end of 2012, and the rest in 2013. This measure is part of a greater cost efficiency programme announced by the management.
As a result of the negotiations with the social partners, the company intends to increase the salaries of the remaining employees by 4 % as of 1 April 2013.
