European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Aspers casino ceased trading on August 30th with the loss of more than 100 jobs.
The closure followed a 90-day consultation with the staff on the future of the business. The casino was running at a loss and would therefore not have been commercially viable in the long term.
