Description
The Federal Employment Agency Bundesagentur für Arbeit (BA) intends to shed 17,000 posts by 2016 in order to save €750 million in administrative costs. The job cuts shall all be realised by natural attrition and by hiring freezes for new staff. The Bundesgentur currently employs 115,300 people.
10000 of these job losses are to be enacted by the end of 2013.
