Description

The supermarket chain Coop Danmark, owned by FDB, is to cut 200 jobs in Denmark.

173 people are to be made redundant at the company's headquarters in Albertslund, outside Copenhagen.

The redundancies are part of the plan to change the organisation during the next two years focusing on increasing its competitiveness.

The timeline for the restructuring is yet to be announced. 

Coop Danmark has around 1200 stores and around 37,000 emloyees.
