European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The pharmaceutics company Boehringer has announced to apply for a Redundancy Procedure affecting 120 employees (6.5% of its workforce in Spain). The measure will only affect sales personnel.
The restructuring is blamed on different cuts in public health expenditure implemented by the Spanish government.
