Description

French hotel and resort group Accord has announced to close the Sofitel Tahiti Maeva Beach (105 employees) on the island of Tahiti (French Polynesia) by the end of November. Of the 105 employees affected, 12 will retire early, while the remaining 93 people will be dismissed.

The management explained its decision by the drop in touristic activity in the area.
