Description
Construction group VolkerWessels announced that it will cut 300 out of a total of 12,000 jobs in the Netherlands. Background is the wish to cut costs in a very difficult market and the erosion of margins.
Earlier this year, negotiations with the unions on an overall social plan were unsuccessful. A timeline for the restructuring is not yet known.
