Description
The insolvency administrator of German drugstore chain Schlecker has announced to close Schlecker's subsidiary Home Shopping, an online shop, with the subsequent loss of 100 jobs. The redundancies will be implemented by 12.08.2012.
These job cuts come on top of the more than 20,000 jobs which were lost earlier this year (see here) in the frame of Schlecker's bankruptcy. The insolvency administrator responsible stated that there were no take-over offers by any investor, which made the closure of the online shop unavoidable.
