The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
On 27 June 2012, Szczecin Local Government announced plans to reduce the employment in the local schools by 100 jobs.
The cuts in the education sector are due to the "baby bust" phenomenon and the related necessity for public expenditure cuts.
