Radom Local Government announced plans to reduce the employment in the local schools by 113 jobs. Local authorities also plan to change the employment status of another 230 teachers and move them to a part-time employment.
Radom, like other local governments in Poland, gives two main reasons for the employment reduction: the "baby bust" phenomenon and the necessity for public expenditure cuts.
Radom Local Government currently employs 4,100 teachers.
