European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
On 5 July 2012, the management of the ice cream manufacturer Pilpa has announced the closure of its plant inCarcassone by the end of the year. The company was bought by the German group R&R Ice cream in June 2011.
According the unions, the plant is competitive. They have requested an external audit.
