European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
De Persgroep, a Belgian media company, announced it will restructure several departments involved in job advertising and recruitment. This will result in the loss of 107 jobs.
The weekly magazine "Intermediair" will be restyled and several internet sites for job advertising will be merged or closed down. The announcement came shortly after VNU Media (the initial owner of Intermediair) was taken over by De Persgroep.
