Emgo, a part of the Philips and Osram group operating in the lighting industry, announced plans to close its plant in Lommel, Belgium and dismiss its 135 employees.
According to the management of the company, the main reason for this decision is the progressive decrease in demand for Emgo's products.
The 'Renault' procedure has already been launched. The restructuring is to be completed by the end of 2012.
