Description
German semiconductor manufacturer Infineon Technologies is to invest 250 million euro in Austria and is looking for 100 additional staff members. The development site in Graz will be expanded during the business expansion; a fourth building is to be constructed by the end of the year.
These expansion plans were announced by the company's CEO Ms Kicher-Kohl on 28 June 2012. The company, whose staff levels have constantly increased over the course of the last years, will have an all-time high of 3,000 permanent employees by the end of the year. In addition, the company employs 600 temporary agency workers.
Infineon is looking for process engineers and employees for technical marketing. Due to a lack of available candidates in Austria, the company is looking for staff members worldwide and has started a partnership with the University of Ljubljana in order to recruit employees from Slovenia as well.
