The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
On 5 June 2012, wholesaler Selgros Cash&Carry opened a new supermarket in Gliwice. The company plans to create 350 jobs at the new venue.
With an investment worth 80 million PLN (about 19 million EUR), this is Cash&Carry's fifteenth warehouse in Poland. Selgros Cash&Carry has been operating in Poland since 1997. The company has 15 units employing 4,000 people across Poland.
